Wai Chun

Fung Wai Chun is ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’.

This guy, known as Wai Chun (aka Ychun by some of his friends) plays as a forward in the team. He is currently in his last year in UBD and his birthday falls on the 3^rd of March 1984. His hobbies and interests of the past involve cycling and playing badminton. Now, he plays basketball, squash, goes hiking, swims and enjoys cooking as well.

Wai Chun is single and said that he will just let it come. In his own words, he describes himself as “chubby at the moment, trying to keep in shape but never fails to eat every hour. *Stares blankly at Jade* [FYI she had to pin him down and catch him at the court so that he would give his profile. Not literally that is. Lol] “I don’t know give me some ideas!” (He got stuck for a moment, laughs and then continues) “I’m too short for my age. Haha. I am not a very, what do you call that thingy? A social butterfly thingy, but if I know you, I’d be crazy and bitchy. Right, Jade? I’m taking BA Economics at the moment but I think I’m in the wrong field. I’d rather be a chef.” Hahaha. How cute of him. His dream is to be a renowned chef which he said “will never happen, by the way.” He always wants to get to work but in the end falls on the bed. He added that he is a very lazy procrastinator.

[Jade’s voice: Yuhuuuu! Hehe. Anyways Ychun is a really sweet guy who would always be there for you no matter what. He is funny, caring and of course, really sweet. I think I’ve mentioned that sweet part already haha. Plus he is very optimistic and full of all this positive energy, on which I think, is a good thing as I am such a pessimist so at least he balances me out. I will miss having to leave notes on his car’s windshield after he graduates. Sigh]

Furthermore, he is also an important figure in the club as he was one of the former presidents in the past who ruled during the academic year of 2006. He has also helped the current president, Jade, in making vital decisions by advising her on difficult circumstances that had taken place during her period. It was during his time that the club started to take a turn and because of him, and his committee, the club took a big step and consequently opportunities started coming in. We would not have gone this far if it was not for him and others so Jade and her committee would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you. He was also her mentor J
